We have had a tremendous reponse to the announcement of the pricing. Thanks to everyone who submitted questions and comments, both on the blog and via email. When I first reviewed the plans, I knew immediately that I wanted to sign up for the Platinum Starter Pack, but also knew I couldn’t put out that kind of cash during the summertime when I have absolutely no income — so the payment plan is great news! My husband has been deployed for the last year and was supposed to be home this weekend. Unfortunately, he is being kept at his current job until further notice. We are supposed to be moving to CA so I may be on the road with my 2 kids a dog and a bunny. I am not sure where I will be on the 14th (which happens to be my birthday) but I sure as heck am going to try to get to a computer.) I hope I can because this is a really incredible chance for my daughter and I to play and learn together!!

I am trying to purchase the starter pack where the set up fee is waived and the first 6 months is waived. but when I add it to the cart it comes up $64.00 which is still a good price. Can you tell me how to do it to come up on the form? I plan on purchasing it on Friday when I get paid. This is an answer to prayer…We need extra money and also my daughter, who has cerebral palsy, who is in her junior year in high school is taking business classes and is in the young entrepeneuers(sp) classes is excited to work this business..She is in a wheel chair, but she is one smart cookie. She introduced me to your site.

I have been considering this, however, correct me if I’m wrong – I thought I read somewhere that the earnings from online purchases would be paid in GIFT CERTIFICATES. This means that in the latest email that was sent about the @ Home Email Marketing Club, we would have to pay $14.99 per month out of our pocket for this service (not to mention add’l $10 or $25 if you want to send out any private/custom messages), yet our earnings from it are paid in Emily Rose Gift Certificates – meaning, we’d have to sell $150 through our personal website or click through links in emails just to cover this monthly fee, AND those earnings in gift certificates can only be used to buy more Emily Rose merchandise. I understand that those gift certificates could be used with a party that you hold in order to actually get some cash, but what if I don’t hold that many parties but get a lot of business online? Or get a lot of repeat business online? I have a blog where I was thinking I could promote this a lot, but I’m worried I’d get stuck with a bunch of gift certificates instead of money, you know? I see how this would really benefit you, but I don’t think it’s very advantageous to me? Maybe I’m missing something here? Please set me straight…

Hi Carole – I think you misunderstood. There is absolutely NO requirement for you to join the @Home marketing club. You can send emails yourself or through another service, or promote your link in an entirely different way. You will still receive your private link to the website and be able to collect your commissions whether or not you choose to use this service. The @ Home marketing club was developed purely to provide the service to Founders Circle members who wish to use it. We are not making profit from this service – simply covering the costs and extending our benefit of having volume discounts to the Founder’s Circle members. We are offering it as a FREE bonus to Platinum Starter Pack purchasers because we would like to give those business owners a real head start. Let us know if you have further questions.
What kind of commision do you compesate your member with? For parties? For sales?

Business owners earn at least 25% of revenue for all party orders and 10% of revenue on orders placed on the web through their private link to the store.
What incentives are offered to people when they host a party? If it is a percentage cut off their bill or free merchandise, do we take the cut out of our 25%? For example if a party hostess brings in $500 in merchandise, what will she receive for hosting the party?
Is shipping a flat rate for merchandise such as the $5.50 on the site or will customers be charged?
Most home parties offer 30 – 50% profit so I’m trying to figure out if Emily Rose is profitable after the other expenses are deducted. Thanks and looking forward to it.
Hi Debbie – The hostess receives both free merchandise and a gift certificate for 10% of the total party order. This is all supplied by us – it does not come out of your 25%. Most party plans average between 15-40% but have lots of hidden costs like annual fees, quota commitments, etc… Plus we tend to think that our products will be a lot easier to sell
Just to clarify – I thought I read somewhere that any revenue generated online would be paid to the consultant in gift certificates for Emily Rose merchandise, not in actual money – is that correct? Thanks!
Hi Carole – The party commission are in cash that you keep. The online commissions are in gift certfiicate form which you can then turn in to cash by using them to pay for your party orders. We would like to encourage our business owners to have a mix of both party and online activity in order to get the most out of this opportunity.
I don’t see my question here. I’m so nervous about not being able to get in on the initial roll out. Will there be future roll outs and how soon. I know as soon as my friends see how successful a business it is, they will want to be a part of it!
Hi Margaret – Right now we are really focused on making sure that we put everything we have in to making the Founder’s Circle business owners very successful. We haven’t thought about opening up the opportunity again in the future. We certainly wouldn’t do so until we believed the Founder’s Circle members were doing well and future business owners would not have the Founder’s Circle status – which will have exclusive rights and opportunities as these business owners will truly be the pioneers of Emily Rose @ Home.
